There was a recent request of local ghosts, since mostly I drew were fan arts of horror icons.
This is what local calls "Penanggal" or "Si Lor Bun" in Hokkien. Correct me if I am wrong, but this is actually a "bomoh" or witches who uses dead bodies' parts to roam around the town and scaring people. The body parts are only the head, backbone and the organs connected to it.
Fishing villages would normally see more of these because they get caught in the fishing nets they leave out to dry. And they encourage people not to dry their clothes at night, because the next day, they will see blood stains left behind by the "penanggal".
Enjoy the staring of the "Penanggal" during the day, night time would not be so friendly.
